NOTE! Prommer must be updated to version 006.014.010 or later.
Use only FPS-10 prommers!
NOTE! Latest Phoenix Service Software installs always the
latest Flash Update package for prommer (FPS-10).
NOTE! Close Phoenix before starting uninstallation or installation of Data Package.
If Install Shield Wizard does not automatically remove the previous version of
Data Package go to Start menu->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs, then uninstall
RM-58 Phone Data Package.
NOTE! Ini-file formats have changed, so use the latest Phoenix Service SW available
in order to successfully test and tune the product.
Requirements:
- Phoenix Service Software 2006.12.5.136 (or newer)
- Prommer (FPS-10) SW (Flash Update package 006.014.010)
Or USB cable (DKU-2) for usb flashing
This installation package includes:
- MCU software release 4.65.0
- Variant packages for following variants:
* Cingular LS
- rm_58.ini file, that includes
- options used in flashing
- list of settings that can be saved from customer's phone when updating software
- <product_code>.ini files, that define
- names of flash files
- variant packages (language packages and EPOC settings) that belong to each product
- default settings for each product
- SW setting files (Product profiles)
- User interface configuration file for Product Profile tool (rm_58.ppu)
- Label printing files (600dpi only)
- RM-58.val includes product type specific module information for Faultlogger (not needed)
- autotune_RM-58.ini allows user to align product's RF part automatically
NOTE:- new rfconf_RM-58.xml file added for BB5 products
- rm_58_tunings.ini that specifies some TX Power Level tuning targets for RM-58
- readme_RM-58.txt (this file)
