well sure it works. it can easily be unlocked using hypersim under GSM network. It's been verified working under most GSM networks which tested with Vodafone, Optus and 3AUS(Telstra GSM roaming) in Australia.

i am not in Australia actually i'm in new york city but i know people selling docomo phones from Australia. the latest docomo phones they're selling is XX03A/X03A last time i checked so i suggest be patient for awhile. right now they only have hypersim to work with X03A phones! by the way they just selling phones not making hypersims.
