Putting Java on a S308

Hi, sorry i have to write in english.. i can&#39t read chinese well!
i&#39ve been looking around this site and i see a lot of s308 and java posts.
so i was wondering if there is a firmware to put java on a S308.
if so.. can someone give me the steps to do it!

嗨，我很抱歉不得不用英文，因我的中文不是很好。我已经浏览了那个网站看到了很多相关S308和JAVA的邮件。因此我在想是否有一种开发软件可在S308用JAVA语言编辑。如果可以，那么会有办法来完成。

●1、目前我们刷的A8版软件是不支持JAVA的，你需要下载一个8G最新放出的JAVA补丁程序才能真正支持JAVA环境。
补丁下载地址：http://210.73.66.79:2003/mobile/s300/javarest_patch.rar（注意：此补丁只适用于A8版本软件，其他版本不行）
2、解压下载回来的软件后，得到javarest_patch2.sre文件，然后把这个文件写入到手机里（写入方法参见上述备份软件写回方法）即可。
3、真正支持JAVA环境后，也只是在底层支持，就是在手机菜单里你不会看见JAVA的选项。
4、要想写入JAVA游戏必须靠写入以后8G放出的JAVA游戏补丁文件来实现。

when i put the A8 patch the phone doesn&#39t turn on afterwards

acutally.. i tried many many different firmware and none of them work!
the phone never turns on after flashing!
am i flashing wrong?

i don&#39t think you can flash your S308 with the software downloaded from blueshow.net if you really don&#39t kown chinese.

i want java coz the chinese on the phone is useless to me since i can&#39t read it! i wanted a S300 but my friend bought a S308 for me instead!
i&#39m getting help from friends to translate everything for me!

here are the steps that im using to flash!
im using optiflash 3.5.0.2 on windows XP

i pick "customer T1, S308".
Flash erase passes is 1
Differences only should be ticked. Nothing else should be ticked. (If the first flash doesn&#39t work, you may try to untick "differences only", and tick "extended protection")

Flash and verify tab => file to load or verify => browse for the S3A8_8G.sre

There should be two regions that are reserved:
0x00002000 - 0x00003fff (decimal 8192 - 16383)
0x00008000 - 0x0000dfff (decimal 32768 - 5734)

(i tried removing those ranges too)

Plug in your Samsung cable to both the phone and the PC. Attach to the side of the cable

Turn your phone off. Remove SIM card and battery.

Switch the little box on the cable to D/L

Press Flash.


the phone doesn&#39t turn on after flash! but i try flashing javarest_patch2.sre into the phone too, using the same steps!

呵呵，不会写E文。楼主刷了水改的A8到S308当然开不了机啦，要刷行货的啊。但行货的软件不支持JAVA。可以考虑用EASY TOOLBOX把水改版改为行货版刷。

oh i don&#39t understand why had you to flashed s308 to s300. you can use s308 in english.
you want to play java game in mobile? i surpose you sell your s308 and then buy another s300!

the strange thing is.... any type of firmware i put in.. the phone never turns on!
